Bach Flower Remedies
Practitioner: Jeni Shaw A Healthy Mind Insures a Healthy Body
BACH FLOWER REMEDIES (essences) were created in the early 1930’s by
Dr. Edward Bach, a Harley Street consultant, bacteriologist and
homeopath. His philosophy was, “A healthy mind insures a healthy body.”
Dr. Edward Bach devised a system of seven major emotional
classification groups, such as fear, uncertainty and loneliness. He
then categorized 38 negative states of mind under these groups. Then,
using his knowledge of homeopathy formulated plant or flower-based
remedies to balance each of these emotional states. This complete
system of 38 flower formulations are known as the BACH FLOWER REMEDIES,
used worldwide to help us live emotionally healthy lives.
Impatiens Glandulifera
Dr. Bach lived and worked at the Edward Bach Centre in Mount Vernon,
Oxfordshire, London England, where in the surrounding fields and hedges
he discovered his beloved healing flowers.
To this day the very same wild-flower locations are harvested in the
preparation of the Bach Flower remedies by present-day custodians dedicated to maintaining the simple methods and uses of
the remedies as intended by Dr. Bach.
BACH FLOWER REMEDIES help in coping with the emotions which we face
every day. These can range from lack of confidence to feeling restless
or irritable. We all go through difficult patches when we are feeling
unable to cope, whether it be related to family issues, work, financial
concerns or relationship trauma. You will be able to find a remedy to
suit your needs.
The remedies don't treat physical complaints directly
but rather, work at creating a positive outlook within all negative
emotions helping you gain control of your life and making you feel good
about yourself through promotion of emotional wellness and empowerment.
